Meet the TEAM Specialists
Lorena Harris, TEAM Public Relations Specialist, brings human resources and business administration experience to the TEAM which enables her to perform various public relations functions within the community. Lorena also supports the TEAM and its systems by working with computer applications, plus serves as the TEAM’s bilingual specialist.
Michael Harris, BROKER & TEAM Listing Specialist, works with sellers who want to get the best price for their home or property within 30-60 days after listing it. Michael can provide a comparative market analysis (CMA) to support his suggested sale price for your property. Also, he uses his 20-year superior sales track record and in-depth knowledge of this market to give your home the highest degree of exposure to every possible buyer – locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Wendy Simpson, TEAM Buyers' Agent, brings personal experience as a local real estate investor and property manager to assist buyers in their home buying experience. Wendy advises and advocates during the entire home buying process as she researches homes, evaluates, and presents property information to the home buyer. She takes a personal interest in identifying buyer's needs and wants and finds a way to attain as many of their preferences as possible.
Chuck Scragg, Real Estate Sales and Leasing, Mr. Scragg is a Realtor at The Michael Harris Team. He is adept at commercial and industrial realty, in addition to residential sales. Previously he was President of Community and Economic Development Solutions Consulting, a community and economic development focused firm. He has worked with local governments to prepare for economic development as well as with major companies seeking to find sites and available buildings in the right Georgia locations. He also was contracted to be the “Start Up” Director for the Greater Gilmer/Ellijay Joint Development Authority as well as the Executive Director of the Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority where he worked in concert with the Brunswick City Commission and Glynn County Board of Commissioners. In these local development authorities Chuck assisted new and existing companies that are considering an expansion or relocation to the area. Previously Chuck had been with Georgia Power since 1982, where he has held various management and economic development positions until 2014. His 20 years in the Community, Economic Development and Legislative Affairs positions, prepared him for all facets of working with State and Local Governments and private companies. Prior to Georgia Power, his experience included local government planning and management consulting. Additionally, he has taught college courses in management, corporate finance and strategic planning. He is a Certified Economic Development Financial Professional. Chuck holds an undergraduate degree in Education and a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling, both from West Virginia University. Additionally, he holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Berry College, located in Rome, Georgia. He is married to Barbara White Scragg, formerly of Decatur, Georgia. They are members of the Episcopal Christ Church Frederica. They have three sons, Chris, Chas and Jon, and four grandchildren.
